Is it possible to trade limiteds in the game?

Main Post: Hello Everyone! I’m trying to make game where you can trade limiteds, but I want to make so people can trade right in the game. Is it possible to do? Thanks.

Trading on binance futures as a UK limited company?

Main Post:

Is anyone here trading on binance futures as a UK limited company? How did you deal with the UK investor notice?

I thought it only applies to retail but they're blocking futures access on my institutional account, even though support repeatedly told me early on that the UK investor notice does not apply to companies (since a company != retail).

The UK Investor notice seems tailored to those already extremely wealthy or those that are in an investment company, but I just want to trade my own company's money with my own software (without having to rewrite parts for another exchange instead).

Is there maybe a way to make "investment professional" a valid response, given they'll ask for proof?

3 "Investment professional" One of the following:

a. a person authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (“FCA”) or the Prudential Regulation Authority (“PRA”) to carry on FCA-regulated activities;

b. a person who is exempt from the general prohibition on undertaking FCA-regulated activities without being authorised by the PRA/FCA to do so (such as specified central banks, recognised investment exchanges and clearing houses, and appointed representatives of PRA/FCA-regulated persons) where such person’s investment activities with Binance relate to an FCA-regulated activity in relation to which the person is exempt;

c. a person whose ordinary activities involve them in carrying on an FCA-regulated activity to which their investment activities with Binance relate for the purpose of a business carried on by them;

d. a government, local authority (whether in the United Kingdom or elsewhere) or an international organisation; or

e. a director, officer or employee of an entity falling within any of a. to d. above, where such person’s responsibilities when engaging in investment activities with Binance involve them in the carrying on by such entity of FCA-regulated activities.

Has anyone dealt with this? Do I need to contact the FCA just to trade my own company money with my own software? Or is having a UK limited company also considered "retail" since I don't have £5 million in company assets?

Top Comment: Seems a hassle. Just set a free Safepal wallet and you can trade futures on the Binance DAPP. You don’t have to worry about being a professional etc etc

Trading Limited Items?

Main Post:

So from what has been said so far, it seems like DLC items are the only items restricted from trading. In the GIF showcasing a trade, we also see the Alpha Cap, Boost and Beta Nugget. Does this mean all limited items (Season 1 Crowns, Season 2 Boosts, Halloween, Christmas, Alpha, Beta etc.) will be tradable? Sorry if this has been discussed but I couldn't find any word of this sorting through new, Cheers.

Seems like it

Any one use NH TRADING NW LIMITED in the UK?

Main Post:

Last year I started to get parts to build a new system but due to the lack of the 3080 cards I ended up buying a pre built system.

Soon as I opened the box I noticed 2 sticks of ram was missing. After some messing about they did send me the ram out to install but then in April my PC started black screening and in the event manger it was giving me a critical error on the Gcard.

I contacted NH TRADING NW LIMITED and asked about the supply of Gcards and was told they did not have any to replace the Gcard so I give them 3 months grace to give the supply a chance to get better.

I then contacted them in July and after lots more messing about I got the desktop sent back.

I was told the PC would be back to me after 3-5 days and after almost 2 weeks of them having it and ignoring me they then told me that I broke the motherboard and have to pay for a new motherboard but they have replaced the PSU. (All the trouble shooting I done never once pointed to a PSU fault)

They took photos of when they say they got it out the cardboard box and you can see on the photo the Gcard support bar has been moved down from where it was. ( I took photos as it was going in the box to be send back)

Amazon have told them 3 times to give me a refund and they refuse and now I have to take them to small claims court to get a refund.

I am posting this here to hear from anyone else with a negative experience from this company but also posting to tell anyone who has used NH TRADING NW LIMITED or knows of anyone who has to go and double check what is in their system as I now believe they deliberately missed the RAM out hoping I would not notice.

NH TRADING NW LIMITED is not to be trusted.

EDIT: Veno Scorp also trade as NH TRADING NW LIMTED

Atlas Strategy that Focuses on Limited Trading (Console Pain)

Main Post:

Does anyone have any ideas on an atlas tree that would focus more so raw currency gains with the occasional big drop to sell rather than bulk selling and constant trading? I'm on console so it's painful to bulk sell.

Top Comment:

Harbingers drop raw currency. Essences for crafting yourself (I’d also recommend bulk selling but know you’re avoiding that here. They are great for early crafting your own gear though.) Shrines/strongboxes for more map juice and natural drops plus strongboxes can have strong drops too.

Edit: this is my planned final tree. it focuses on Harbinger/Essences/Strongboxes/Tormented Rogue Exiles/Beyond. Should be able to get a lot of juicy drops this way, just be sure to keep juicing your maps with scarabs/sextants as wel

Why is There Limited Content on Scalping Trading ?

Main Post:

Hey,
I've been exploring various sources regarding trading and have noticed a lack of content regarding scalping trading. This has led me to wonder if this is because people aren't sharing their experiences or if the general consensus is that scalping trading isn't worth ?

Curious to hear your thoughts on this matter or even suggestions on resources or strategies you'd recommend for someone interested in trying scalping trading

Cheers

Top Comment: Hey - the answer is quite frankly the existing cheap data sources and APIs at IBKR and TDA are not suitable for scalping under the 1 minute level. I attempted my own options scalping strategy and it falls apart on TDA as they buffer orders really badly. TDA has a strict 120 orders per minute rate limit. You're severely buffered where the first 2-4 orders are accepted right away, then they are buffered in batches of 2-8 orders per second, then they kill the socket if you send them too much at once to boot. With any cheap retail data sources (ie polygon) you're at 180 ms for 50% percentile and 650 ms for 99% for equity quotes. Let's just round that sucker up to 1 second by the time you process the data, get the order to your broker, and your broker gets it on the market, then you get confirmation that it got filled/executed or you need to cancel/replace. That totally obliterates all second level scalping, full stop, due to the broker's API. IBKR is 250ms or so to get on the market, TDA is 35ms in my experience (options), but they buffer you past the # of orders as I described. It's not going to be as fast or nice as manual scalping super quickly given those limitations with a good hotkey setup and pre-defined OCO brackets. So what does that leave you? Reverse engineer TOS itself and hook in. They have blocks from running TOS from multiple ips so this is a non starter for me, it means I'd have to log into the website to see how the scalper is going. Try alpaca/tradier, I have no idea how good their APIs are, I trade in portfolio margin and not reg-t and neither of those offer it. Go the prime broker route and you get access to a ton of execution only brokers or can colocate at the exchange. That requires $500k+ for equities, for futures no requirements other than higher expenses. Then finally, you'd want better data say Nanex which is $1,500 for equities (UTP, CTA A, CTA B), add another $2,000 for OPRA, and my option scalper idea is $3,500/mo just to try it out for 20ms data, still being buffered by TDA unless I want to scalp 1-2 contracts at a time vs scalping 100 different things.

Since there's no trading in D4 (limited), will there be an economy?

Main Post:

This is one of the huge aspects of D2 that I've enjoyed for 20+ years. Whether it was soj's, runes, the game had some type of currency and trading was a huge aspect to build up wealth. How do you guys feel about this with D4? For example in D2, if I spent hours/days grinding and finally found a Ber rune, I can trade it away (assuming I don't need it) and all of the time spent grinding doesn't go to waste. With D4, let's say I find a Windforce and couple months later I find another one. What am I supposed to do with it? Just let it collect dust in the inventory? What are we supposed to do with all the GG items we spend days/months grinding for?

Top Comment:

There will be an economy. The BIS base rares are what are tradeable.
